2) Examens toxicologiques négatifs

Au moins trois expertises toxicologiques ont été effectuées dans les locaux d’Auschwitz et de Birkenau censés avoir servi à des gazages homicides pour des centaines de milliers ou des millions de victimes (rapport Leuchter, rapport Rudolf), dont une officielle menée en 1990 par la section de toxicologie de l’Institut d’expertises médico-légales de Cracovie (Institut Jan Sehn). Leurs résultats sont unanimes: les échantillons  prélevés dans “l’arme du crime“ ont donné une quantité nulle ou non significative de ferrocyanures (0,024 mg/kg pour l’Institut Jan Sehn). En revanche, des échantillons prélevés dans une chambre à gaz de désinfection au Zyklon B (chambre d’épouillage) ont montré des valeurs jusqu'à 20 fois supérieures (0,036-0,588 mg/kg).

  The International Red Cross was present in all labor, internment, concentration and prison camps during World War II. The Red Cross never had access to any Soviet camps before, during or after World War II. Under pressure from the revisionists (Robert Faurisson and Ernst Zundel), particularly at the two Zundel trials (Toronto, 1985 and 1988), these authorities finally made revelations on these registers from 1989 onwards, despite strong objections from Israel. They claim to have found registers only for the period from July 29, 1941 to December 31, 1943, not without some gaps. Red Cross records seem to indicate that there were no gas chambers in German camps during the Second World War and an extraordinarily lower total of documented victims than those generally advanced until then.   In September 1944, a Red Cross team was sent to check the rumor of gas chambers in Auschwitz but could not find any extermination facilities . An inspection visit to the Auschwitz concentration camp was made on September 29, 1944 by the Swiss physician  Maurice Rossel  and other delegates of the International Committee of the Red Cross. In its report on this visit, the ICRC delegation stated that it had  found no confirmation of rumors of human gassing , and that the prisoners interviewed did not speak of it (see Documents relating to the work of the International Committee of the Red Cross on behalf of civilian prisoners in German concentration camps between 1939 and 1945 [Geneva: ICRC, 1975], pp. 76-77. Ed. in French, Geneva, June 1946, p. 92).
